Huff Post Reiki

July 1st, 2009

Yoga practitioners and meditators “get” Reiki straight away. They’ve dipped inside a few times before, and appreciate it when someone literally hands them a good meditation.

So I wasn’t surprised that New York City yoga teacher Tess Ghilaga was so articulate about the nuances of her first Reiki treatment and its aftermath.

I was, however, completely unprepared for how delightful the Reiki entry to her Huffington Post blog would be. Tess writes with comfort and clarity. Her piece is descriptive, upbeat, and inviting–a grounded introduction to Reiki that we can share liberally (please do).

Tess, you’ve done Reiki proud, and we thank you!

Aim for success, not perfection. Never give up your right to be wrong, because then you will lose the ability to learn new things and move forward with your life.
