Hi Pamela,
Thank you for this valuable training and guidance. I found it really helpful for setting a frame work around the initiations. The additional support documents are an excellent resource.
Around 53 minutes the sound drops out and you are talking about what you do between finishing the first initiation and the first self practice experience. Are you able to fill me in on the missing piece? Maybe it is a discussion or sharing.
I particularly enjoyed the end of the talk in relation to the 21 day cleanse and certificates. Again thank you for your guidance on this.
With gratitude,
Anna
Not sure what happened there, Anna, but thanks for pointing it out. What’s missing is that I lead my students in a very simple breath meditation, which they continue practicing while I initiate them (I was a meditation teacher before I learned Reiki practice).
The meditation is not to enhance the initiation, but rather to start training them how they can avoid getting caught up in their minds during Reiki practice.
Then, without bringing them out of meditation, I lead them into their first hands-on self practice. Practicing self Reiki when they’re already indrawn helps them notice more subtleties of how they respond to their practice. Otherwise, they’re more prone to getting caught up in their thoughts instead of being present with their experience.
Thank you, Pamela. Very informative and appreciated!
